Three Sirens

Siren, the Japanese audio gadgets manufacturer, has announced the release of three brand new generation mp3 player models: DP100, DP200 and DP300. In my opinion all three models are worth respect! And now let's talk about all these models in all the details.

Siren DP 100


Siren DP100 is model offered at the lowest cost. Nevertheless, DP 100 has minimum but necessary amount of a MP3 player features; it is colored in orange and black gamma (also silver or white optionally) and has really good shape. With all the simplicity DP 100 has a convenient and good navigating menu. DP 100 has a small monochromic display that provides you with the most necessary information about the track that is currently playing, its timing, battery charge and equalizer type.

This model comes with a built-in 512 MB/1 GB or 2GB memory module, therefore the price varies from $ 50 for 512MB modification to $ 100 for top 2GB model. The DP100 is fully compatible with your PC. To download your favorite music, all you got to do is to connect DP through USB (USB cord comes in DP 100 kit)

Siren DP 200

Another Siren's creation is a stylish DP 200. In my opinion this is the best looking model. Very thin and black as night! DP 200 is equipped with 512MB/1GB/2 GB flash memories, has an FM tuner and a voice recorder. The stylish DP 200 has a slick design and comes with OLED display. The sensor navigating buttons are arranged in circle (like on an i-pod). It makes navigating through the menu very easy . The DP 200 can playback songs in MP3, WAVE, WMA formats and with the help of a built-in digital equalizer the sound becomes perfect for every listener. The price for one DP 200 varies from $ 86 for a 512MB modification and to $ 160 for 2 GB model. DP 200 can also be connected to PC through USB cord.

Siren DP 300

Siren DP 300, as you probably guessed, is the top-end DP line model. It is not just an audio player. DP 300 is a media player that is able to playback videos (even in DivX) and preview picture files as well. DP 300 comes in 2 color schemes: night black and future silver. Unlike the previous models DP 300 comes with only 1GB and 2GB memory modules. Video playback function is the main cause why DP 300 is equipped with 128 x 128 OLED color display. As for me it is good to know that OLED based technology is spreading fast in our days. Other main DP 300 advantage is that it has an FM- tuner and voice recorder. Alike previous models DP 300 can be connected to your PC through USP port. The price for 1GB SIREN DP300 is $ 128 and for 2GB model is $ 170.

In the end I would like to add that the prices for Siren products are not high, comparing to some other manufacturers. Let's hope that their product's quality level is up to Japanese standards.
